The general store was built in Sulphur Bluff (Northeast Hopkins County) in the 1870's.  It now houses the park's Gift Shop as well as the post office from Como, TX and a nice selection of antique products (not for sale) from the turn of the century.  The gas pumps are from Addran, TX.  It has housed a General Store, a Saloon and a Community Center.  It was Donated by Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hearle in honour of the Jeff Smith family.
